Description
The third finished piece from my art-rehabilitation sketchbook. I should give it a name or something..I drew this while realizing I had made a mistake taking on a summer-course, sitting in the classroom with growing anxiety. After 20 minutes of a horrible lecture I escaped with my friend, jumping on a bus away from school and It felt so good. A sweet caramel-latte, a piece of cake and a friend to talk to made my day..

great compositional offset. Flows well from top left to bottom right. there is a negative space pressure in the upper right that pushes the eye back along the texture and through the print again. Gj. BTW, don't think about that when your working though, just a post analysis.

It's a traditional pencil sketch with digital color mixed with watercolor texture photos mixed into the process

No secrets ^_^ For this piece It was a mixed process. The drawing was made with a regular pencil in my sketchbook. Since I don't own a scanner I photographed the sketch and started working on it in photoshop. That is just painting, adding in textures, editing and such. It makes me happy to hear you like it!

actually now i realize the process is not very different on how i worked on some of my pieces, but i have to admit my results were not so awesome! I guess technique is not everything

I love the green tones in this, its almost as if shes under a huge canopy of leaves and is looking up at the first glimmering rays of sunshine to pierce through. Simply beautiful work on her eye and on her nose, I really just cant stop staring at her face.
Im hoping that this rehabilitation is working well for you m'dear cause its absolutely fantastic from what i am seeing

Aah, thank you, I didn't think of it that way, but its a beautiful description. Rehabilitation is moving slowly but steadily forward. I think I'm regaining much of my joy for drawing and creating again, and reading all the sweet comments warms my heart. ^__^
