Description
this is an illustration done for my boyfriend's pub the Jekyll and Hyde. I love that place, and now it's all his to do with what he wants, and he has many MANY ideas to make it even greater than it was before.so I'm doing a couple of Jekyll and Hyde pictures for the wall.
this is in mixed media; it's coffee and ink stained paper. drawn over in biro, watercolour and pen.
mixed media indeed. it's so great to work on already tempered paper, please try it!

I knew that I was going to want a couple of pages for some illustrations so I lathered on some base colour, coffee and ink. I did have a pre conceived idea for a compositional piece yes. thanks, and sorry for the late reply.

I like the way the shadows just sort of become Hyde there. Neat.
