Description
So my school has a miniature show in which the drawings/paintings themselves could measure no more than 5 by 7. The actual size of this drawing is 4 1/2 by 5 1/2. This entirely done in graphite 9B through 4H pencils. Had to digitally alter the eyes to make them red because I thought to make them red well after I put the graphite down. Color or pastel pencil couldn't do much so made the red on Photoshop.Related content

YES!!! Definitely good to know I was able to sell the Hannibal Lecter scare the shit out of people grin. Glad you like. The reference I used for this really limited what I can do being that I couldn't find a decent hi-res picture of him. I appreciate the comment. And looking at it, I think I need to round off his chin.

Great lighting and nice textures on his skin! And yep, it definitely is the most haunting pic I've seen in a while. Good thing I wasn't going to sleep tonight anyway. I'm not sure the chin is right though and it might be the reason I didn't think about Hopkins at the first glance. Looks weirdly pointy and near to the mouth.

I wish I could just queue dark shadows to go over the contours of my face, even in broard daylight, and make my irises red...because it must be fun to be able to scare the shit out of people just by looking at them!

Yeah or make the own hair and clothes rise and floating like your underwater, when you're angry. You know Tetsuo from the Manga/Anime "Akira". I just wouldn't shout KAANEEEEDA
It would be nice too, if i could transform in the incredible Hulk (I love this comic figure).

Thanks for the comment! Yeah, as much as I like doing stuff on computer, I still do as much as I can by hand. Lemme see, I started it last Monday, didn't work on it over the weekend of some of this week...about 6 days...about 15-20 hours overall. Really glad you like it!!!

Thanks for the comment...hit some snags while working in this...particulurly the eyes...forgot to add in that I had to go over the eyes to put the highlights in acrylic. Glad you like!

I wondered how you got the color so stark.
I just assumed you touched up the eye digitally.
Splendid control!

The color consistency was the most time consuming. I made sure not to smudge anything cause that would make his skin look too smooth. With the eye, I put down so much graphite that even after erasing it, color and pastel pencil would still slide right over the iris. I would have preferred to red the eye by hand but had to improvise a little bit. Thanks again for the compliment!
