My contribution to the 'Seven Sins' event at .

Of all the sins, Lai's biggest would probably be Envy, or 'Invidia'. Why? Well, for one, he's not a very big sinner as AW characters go. In fact he's still somewhat naive (although he is learning). He really didn't fit the other sins very well, I thought. Secondly, before he was hired by P'D, he survived in the city as a thief. He took things that belonged to other people - he wanted what they had. And one of his favorite things to steal? Electronics and other technological items. Also, as he learns more about the way things work in the city's violent underworld, he also has a degree of envy towards those with more experience, skill, and confidence.

I actually only used shades of green and grey in this image. Green is the color associated with Envy, and the dog is the animal that represents it in classical imagery - hence the somewhat abstract dog theme I tried to incorporate into his clothing. The background started as a composite of several black and white line frames I found from doing a Google Search, which I then filled in and colored.
