Description
My latest project... I wanted to make a castle, so I started one. So far I have put about 8 hours into it.If you can think of anything I can put in there, please let me know... I have no idea how to even start making horses, so don't mention that.
Please rip it apart as well, I want to mke this a very nice piece, and I need alot of hints, tips, tricks, ideas to do that. Thanks
UPDATE 1/11: Added doors, darkened the grass, added archery range (suggested by ~towedwart ), added stairs on the keep, fixed main door issue, added barriers around the towers.
UPDATE 1/12:
Slow down, you move to fast.
You got to make the morning last.
Just kicking down the cobble stones.
Looking for fun and feelinβ groovy.
Thats right cobblestone ground... I temporarily removed the dirt for the archery area to put it all in, that will be back once I decide if I am keeping the cobblestone... What do you all think?
Approx. total time on project so far: 32 hours
Update: Eliminated this project completely, if you want the old PSD for this, not me and it's yours if you want to finish this, moving to scraps.

Im very excited about this project. Looks very promising. The cobble stones are good. I would make the grass less fake/clean, but dirty.
keep at it

Thanks
I is alot of damned work... I just spend 6 hours creating a stone floor for it, and I don't even know if I am gonna use it now... =\
As for the doors, they can only be openend from the inside... You can't see them but there are 5 soldiers in contol of the doors, as it is made out of solid oak.

Good stuff, ens. I especially like the crenellations on the walls and the stairs.

Well, it looks like on the front gate, the northern door is wider than the southern door. Dunno if you had to make it like that, but it caught my attention. It also looks slightly ajar. Other than that, looks like an excellent start to something awesome. A huge start at that. Now.. what could you put in it? I dunno... Small shops, and armery, a stable, archery practice? Just some ideas.
This is weird, cause I just began a medieval serf town.

The problem with the door was that I tried to put some space between them, I didn't really like how it looked, so I went ahead and fixed that. I put in the archery area. And I am still trying to decide where to put the shops and barracks, and such.
What I am thinking about doing is making a page, somewhat like PixelMoon or PixelDam and have a type of landscape and just keep making midevil buildings and like items, that way if I ever want to make something, i can just add to that...
Thanks for the comments... I can't wait to see your serf town.

Haha, I like that archery area - it is awesome. I dunno where you could put the other buldings either, so the idea of making a webapge for it sounds cool. And the dorrs look a lot better since you fixed that spacing thing.
