Updates Log:9/18/17 - Added four more characters due to wanting to continue spriting in that style.
9/23/17 - Added six more characters. I'll probably do more when I have the time and energy if I already finished with my studies.

Added two more characters. Fixes to Little Mac and Ness.From left to right: Reinhardt(Overwatch), Lucca(Chrono Trigger), Skate(Streets of Rage series), Sasuke(Ganbare Goemon), Auron(Final Fantasy X), Shantae, Crash Bandicoot, Frisk(Undertale), Jin Kazuma, Yooka & Laylee, Simon Belmont(Chronicles PSX Version), Scorpion(Mortal Kombat), Ryu, Terry Bogard, Megaman, Sonic, Link, Kirby, Pikachu, Donkey Kong, Samus, Fox McCloud(Starfox), Captain Falcon, Ness, Yoshi, Pit(Kid Icarus), Wario(WarioWare design), Duck Hunt Dog, Little Mac, Lyn/Lyndis(Fire Emblem), Riki(Xenoblade Chronicles), Inkling Girl(Splatoon).
It's here, but this is the NES version as of now. This is one of my other personal projects that I've been doing for the time being, but idk if I should feel proud or content on how I make my attempt on how does the characters look in the SMB3 style world. Hope these can inspire you guys to make your own SMB3 style sprites. It took a few days to mess around with their shapes like with my comb haired generic guy I did years ago from scratch. 16-bit shading version coming soon.

I only used the white as reference for Street Fighter 1 and the SF alpha games. However, since you point it out, I can change the color of it with the palette I gave through NES palette limitations of the original game for his sprite. I think the yellow for his skin tone can be a suitable choice for consistency purposes, plus it's not much an issue. Changing the color of the headband with any other color than the chosen colors for the sprite can defeat the purpose of following the NES palette limitations.

He'll join the SMB3 universe eventually when I have the time to make more characters lol I have two others who will make their appearance, but it'll take a few months for me to add them to the sprite roster.

I love these bro! My favorites are Yooka-Laylee, Ryu and Scorpion but they're all spot on! I especially like the creamy color you used instead of white for most of them. Bawlin job, keep it up!!

Appreciate it! The three were challenging but I got through it at the end of the day on how consistent they look, it was pretty good crafting practice cuz I'm rusty af from constant hibernating lol. I can't really see white having a purpose on how humans and some species will have as the accurate color based on the original artwork they have but in the SMB3 NES world, Mario and Luigi were great examples to use on how they have the creamy color for human skin or characters with similar colors on their details so applying it to other characters that are human and other species with some parts colored similar to the creamy color would make sense.
