New nightmare from the Entenn workshop!
I'm sure many of you noticed my admiration of the Japanese culture, and legends. This time a Yokai. A yokai is a monstrous spirit with often one or no eye at all. (Evil ones don't have eyes, because they don't posses soul in other cultures as well.) Their face is usually covered with hair, or cloth. Samara from "The ring", or the spirit from "The grudge" sure rings a bell.The challenge this time was to give a yokai the Entenn treatment and give it a new look. I'm very much hoping it appeals to you my friends! Leave the lights on when you go to sleep!

Wow, great details and texture work on this. O.o She looks so fragile, and yet so threatening at the same time. Somehow that's more creepy than a huge muscled demon... But she looks very good! I really like this picture!

Pah does not scare me at all. it is an interesting take upon the Yokai personally there is only one thing that could make me cry, and that is a huge spider so this lady is not scary she seems so fragile and i wonder if she could have been a beautiful lady at one point, if the Yokai were ever human (my Japanese mythology is rusty these days) but despite her slender body she appears to loom and has that "i will kill you" vibe so yeah she appears strong in a different sense.
