Description
This is an alternate version of Lord Vader's arrival at Endor in the beginning of RoTJ, inspired by a SW comic. i looked forward doing this awesome and majestic scene for a long time, and finally my Executor became finished. This is my first render with her.It's rumored that many fans would've liked this scene to replace the original arrival scene in the RoTJ DVD release. Myself for sure!

Y'know, I really think that Lucus should have taken the opportunity, when he was doing the Special Edition edits, to replace the opening ISD with the Executor. I mean, can you imagine him accepting a downgrade for anything?

Niiiiice shot. I like the sheer scale of the ship implied in the shot. Also like how Endor and the DS stand out as background, but don't take away from the spectacular model.
