Description This is the sound chip (usually known as SID, the Sound Interface Device) from Commodore 64C machine. Many oldskool people know it and love it, and so do I.
CSG stands for Commodore Semiconductor Group.

Made with 3ds max 5.0, rendered with Brazil r/s 1.0 and slightly modified in Photoshop 7.0.

Hehe, funny stuff, i found one of those as I was cleaning my room just now, didn't know which chip it was (only knew the 6581 was the original SID), hmm, now I MUST do something with it..

I think this is amazing. It's so unorthodox, and yet remarkable. Well, at least I like it.

I like But most old skool people prefer the older revision of it.... the 6581? had a few glitches in it that they put to good use in music

Thanks for the +fav! Yeah, most people prefer the old one. I prefer this, the new one though. I think better songs were made with it.

Thanks, thanks for your comment. My aim was photorealism, and I think I succeeded pretty well.
