I think it would work, but I quite like this original version too I crop pictures only if I think it would significantly improve them.

I'm not sure that proportions of common picture area is ideal. So... sometimes I think it is a good idea to make some cut-off. Sometimes in the moment of shooting I already know that I'll cut the picture in square (for example)
