"What was your relationship with [WILLIAM HARRIS]?" [AMBROSE ANTHES]
"He was my brother." [KEILA HARRIS]
"What were your experiences with him?" [AMBROSE ANTHES]
"He was not the most social person, you know." [KEILA HARRIS]
"Tell me what you experienced, whether or not you actually experienced a lot, just tell me what you know." [AMBROSE ANTHES]
" Well, for one, he was one of the most reclusive people you probably ever would have met. You could argue that he was just depressed, and that he needed a way out, but that wasn't the case. He never showed any of the symptoms of depression, whether they be passing hints or whatever it was." [KEILA HARRIS]
'He didn't socialize much, so he didn't make very many friends, but that never really bothered him. He was kind of an eccentric person, but he didn't pay any attention to any of the people who thought he was different. It was a good quality for him to have, being himself, so I didn't say anything to him about it." [KEILA HARRIS]
"He would write meaningless scribbles and ignore the whole world for days on end, and wouldn't talk or eat or sleep, and after he was done, he would stare out the window, as if there was something deeply wrong with his life. He didn't say anything, but we knew that something had happened. We just didn't know what. So we didn't do anything, because we thought that if it wasn't important enough to tell us, it wasn't important enough to go looking for help. Silly us, I guess." [KEILA HARRIS]
