I really like your series of household objects-turned-spaceships; it reminds me of what I used to do with soda cans and cardboard tubes (from paper towel rolls) when I was little. ^^
Heck, for all we know this is how iconic starships in Western media were created. Like when they first designed Imperial Star Destroyers, maybe one of the prop guys placed a model building on top of a flattened traffic cone and said, "Eureka!"
