Beautiful work. I love the strata. I'm still having a lot of trouble with that. It stands out way too much. How do you get it to look so subtle? o_o

Thanks! To make it look subtle you can do one of two things (or both). Have a surface layer on top of the strata layer that is the same color as one of the predominant strata colors...or...have the strata layer set at maybe 50-75% coverage so the the underlying rock layer shows through. Try those and see what you get.

well its not that it doesnt look good or anything. but as you are the only one who knows why its there (as you know what is beyond the render) it just seems to the rest of us like there is a black patch for no apparent reason, if the cloud were visible it would look fine in my opinion,
but as i said, the rest of the image is great
