Of course not.
I desperately needed some practice drawing anthropomorphised mammals as there will be a strong focus on such things in my graphic novel... most important thing at the moment is to settle on a style. Did I practice anatomy and figure one out using one of my own characters whose features and proportions I'll require to familiarise myself with over the coming months?
Of course not.

This is a compilation of some of my better attempts. I'll likely draw the animals in my novel most like that one near the top right just above the blue one, but like... just above the browny-yellow finished one.
