Amon : "I'm the fucking bad guy of this series, don't forget that again!" :<... I was so frustrated after the last episode of Korra I had to make fun of it! Tarrlock was so promising, he was not under Amon commandment, he was really oppressing non-benders and showing that someway Amon is right, he was such a frightening and powerful badass with this power even the Avatar couldn't fight... And the same episode we finally learn the truth about him, it's over! Couldn't they wait at least one episode? I mean, I love this show so much but there is often something wrong in the pace... I don't know exactly how much episodes they plan but I feel like they rush the things too much.
And I like Tahno's hair even if I say the opposite
So funny ^3^ It felt it was okay to throw him away quickly even if he is one of my favorites. Obviously he was just a little opponent for our pro-bending team. But they have made such a buzz about Tarlock, his motivations and powers, that I could only be disappointed. More opponents, more sides, something more interesting than only one big bad guy (even if Amon will surely be more than that in the end). I guess that Tarlock was useless now that he was discovered, and that it was the occasion to show how much badass Amon is. Sorry for the lamentations...
Better laugh!

Actually, I do like Amon. And I like him even more now than I saw the end of the season. The fact was I liked Tarrlock a lot, I thought he was very powerful and I was disappointed to see him beaten so fast and easily by Amon. I was also fearing that like Tahno, having lost his bending could mean he doesn't appear again in the followings episodes.
I realized I was wrong seeing those episodes : there was a very good reason for all this and I like Tarrlock and Amon even more ^w^

Normalement il n'y a pas de modération des inscriptions, donc si tu n'as pas reçu de confirmation c'est peut être à cause de ta messagerie? Tu as vérifié dans les indésirables?
Pour la série, ouais, c'est vraiment dommage. Mais ça doit justement être dû à la qualité : ça coûte cher, donc ils peuvent pas maintenir ce standing trop longtemps u_u

Damn que cet épisode était COOL, un peu triste pour Tarlak que je voyais bien jouer le grand méchant de fin de saison mais bon, juste pour voir à quel point Amon est un PURIN de monstre, ça valait le coup XD.

I'm not sure about that, that's quite possible. But if find it less interesting, like when a character is shown as dead and "TADAN" he's revived... It kills all the drama. Or "hey, it was just a joke!"

I am more and more doubting about this possibility. It would be nice, but, reality isn't... é_è And as LoK is a child based series (even if it aim at adults too), death is difficult to show due to the censure, so loosing bending is an metaphoric way of showing it, I think. And the most dramatic thing that can happens to a character in this universe. To regain it should have a meaning, like, I don't know, they have learn to live without it so they deserve it again...
Illusion is a very dangerous subject to treat in a story, because it means what the show showed was not true, and it can make you loose belief in it. Buuut... I don't know, we will see. And it can be better to really think they will not regain it, so you will be really sad when they loose it, and really happy if they regain it
