This was unfortunately taken through a very dirty window, without a tripod/monopod and rested on the floor. It is one of the many wonderful views from The Shard in London.Related content

Hm. Well this picture is quite beautiful. The bright lights, buildings, bridges and everything below do contrast quite well with the dark clouds and fading sunset in the sky above. I have seen many landscape/nightscape/cityscape pictures before and they are usually taken from an above perspective and at daytime, not usually at sunset or sunrise. It seems that there is a lot of light colors below and many dark colors above with warmish colors in the middle of the photo. The picture quality is very good, not blurry like some photos can be. Overall, I'd say that this is a very nice photo, taken with technique, care and an original, unique style. Nice job! Keep up the good work!

Well, even if it's through a dirty window, the picture is pretty much crystal clear. I like how the light and dark contrast in the ground and the sky.
