And it isn't an obnoxious little colt!Seriously, I found Snips and Snails to be more annoying than Trixie herself.
But honestly, I'm not exactly the biggest Trixie fan around. However, I will admit that she is very adorable.
If only she wasn't such a bitch so great and powerful.
Second attempt at these kind of surreal photos. Well...third if you count my profile image. I can't draw, I don't have the patience for vectoring, so I'll stick to what I can do moderately well: photo manipulation. I was particularly focusing on shading when I started this, and while I believe I did a pretty good job here, I also think I could have done better.

FIRST EDIT, Oct. 11, 2011:
Dear Princess Celestia, I learned today that when working in Photoshop, you should ALWAYS SAVE THE PSD FILE! Had to go remake the whole damn thing just to fix the shadows. I also added a photo grain effect to her. Both of these should help her look more "real".

Maybe you should consider adding a photo grain effect to Trixie. When I downloaded the full size image she leapt out as not having a grain like the bg plate did.

She's an original vector made by ~kurokaji11 . It's the same style they use for the show and allows for a lot of flexibility. Screen grabs tend to look pixelated or blurry when altered, but vectors keep their clarity much easier, making them perfect for animation.
