Poor Shepard. The only reason mine would come back a second time is for his LI. Nothing else.

Yeah. I actually don't mind if Shepard dies. I just wanted him to be with his LI at the end. I honestly expected an ending like the refusal end. The Crucible failed and you spend your last moments fighting back to back with your LI.

That actually would have been amazing. I can envision Shepard and LI going down together; that's what I call bittersweet, not...erm whatever the rest was. It would have made a great scene, don't you think?

Its fine. I actually had an idea on the BSN a while back where Shepard and his LI are doing this heroic last stand over a nuke (or equivalent device) and when they're about to be overrun, they set the time for a few seconds and embrace until the very end.
