He dipped poison joke into a demonstrator his mother presented to Mayor Mare, which is turning into solid gold.
His father doesn't understand why he's immune to it, let alone why he won't stop being fascinated so much by the plant while his mother tries to do damage control.

Gold being as heavy as it is, she won't be able to move once the change is complete. On the bright side, this isn't the first time Poison's parents had to deal with his fascination with poison joke, they have some cure close by
