Thanks, glad you like it. I'd say probably two days total which is about 12-14 hours work and I probably spent half of that doing the background and details. These do look really great when printed (even if I say so myself

This is a very strong and emotional illustration. Especially the perspective on the Taurus seems to really drag you into the layout. The background really underlines that as well. Your lines are fluent and vivid. naturally the colors make it look fierce and dangerous.
The detail you added to the background and Taurus with those lines at lower opacity and contrary colors add a great touch to it. they really remind of ancient illustrations on vases etc like from ancient greece (and hearing Taurus i somewhat immediately think of Minotaurus)
How you used highlights and shadows give it even more depth and make the Taurus "pop out" (hate that wording, but it works in this case)

I am in awe, wonderful job on this, I love the look of the pattern freestyle, I can't really articulate it but it just works. You have done an exceptional job of the head, the eyes are absolutely sublime, they take the piece to a whole other level.
