Description
I used oil pastel and coloured chalk to present a more abstract, blocky and shaped version of a person's face. And here is my result.
It's as if the shapes within the face are blending in with the shapes in the surroundings; hence the title name.

I'd downsize it a bit. I like full views as they give more detail, but this is just.. way too big.
looks rather nice in the little view though, but hard to say anything on the technique from that

this is brilliant!I like how both abstract/portrait parts work together with the face being a different-in a good way- composition than most abstract pieces ive seen.

very interesting work of art. when you look at it, i mean, truely look at it. It seems to be more then a face. its like seeing two hands melding into each other. very beautiful. Nice work (Note: at full view, its too large for the "average" monitor. Consider sizing down.)

Its not my favorite type of art, but this reminds me of something that Picasso might do.

First things first, a bit of nettiquite. While it is good to have a larger picture in full view, there is a point where it's too big. Try to resize the picture so that it all can be seen in one pc screen, without too much scrolling around. There's always a bit of wiggleroom up and down, but not to the extent that you have it here. Remember, the viewer wants to get a full impression of the entire picture. When you have it that big, the viewer has to break the picture down to a number of smaller pictures in their head, and thus the picture loses its original impact.
So... from the preview image, this is very spiffy. I love the texture you have, creates a lot of movement in the piece. I also really love the color choices. You really should keep exploring this style... has great potential!

odd, weird and very cool. Methinks this is a very good peice. I hate chalk and oil pastels cuz their hard to work with, but you did a great job and made it look very easy.
