Description This is my biggest...and most personal piece to date. Measuring up at 187cm x 156cm, it's my biggest composition painting so far.

I've worked on this on-off for nearly the past 3 months and I think it's one of my greatest pieces of art, since I'm really proud over how it turned out.
There's a lot of secret and hidden messages within this piece, but what I can say is that I put a lot of personal feelings into the imagery. It focuses on a range of negative aspects I've had to face in life - bullying, confusion, fear, anger, depression, anxiety etc. - it's all there in the imagery.

I've put a lot of time and effort into this, so comments would be very much appreciated.

Great concept! It's fun to look through all the little symbols and try to imagine what they could form/represent.

Of course you can use this. The painting is based on a mental disorder I have, called Asperger's Syndrome.

This is stunning. You really can see all the different emotions conveyed, from the calm plues to passionate reds, the short, jarring lines caught between the long, smooth, flowing ones.. Very beautiful!

is sexuality one of them? adulthood? I'm having fun trying to get into your thoughts and figuring out what everything means. What does the bottom right corner mean?

this is VERY interesting. The fact that it's so personal makes me respect this painting so much more. It's a very versatile piece. One could see it from far away and appreciate it from that distance. And the piece becomes so intimate when appreciated up close. People can't see the hidden messages unless they're up close.
It's absolutely beautiful.
Some neutral colors, some cool, some warm. Those are the colors of life in general.

Wow, I don't think I've ever seen such a wonderful piece of abstract ism on DeviantArt... Everything about it is lovely, the 'writing', the colors... When I see this picture, my mind eyes swirl around and I feel like something within me is also swirling, it seems like a huge mixture of anxiety and lostness... Very, very good work.

I am so utterly enthralled by this. It's so expressive and full of emotion. The whole piece is just dripping with passion...and that's not even knowing all the symbolism behind it.

Incredible job! (:

It's absolutely stunning! The colours seem so vivid and shapes, although simple, combined reveal various complex shapes. In other words, it's a piece of art worth staring at!

this is great.
the imagry and symbolism gives it that added personal touch, yet it's still a great work of art without knowing the symbolism.

Is this the one you were talking about on MSN??? This has to be!

IT LOOKS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! I can't imagine all the effort that you put into this, but it was all well worth it! Just the blending and the smoothness and the senses of motion in the figures... PLEASE teach me how to oil paint as well as you can!!!

I love the blues... and I just love how there's even differences in the lines, with the rounded dots at the end... whilst the red has a sense of stamina and quick motion to it, and the lines are kind of sharper at the end... definitely more forceful, more full of anger. I just love some of the blending from the ice blue to ocean blue, from red to yellow... I could stare at this piece for hours! I'd so buy this if it were a print!

I just love the overall sense of a vortex, the way it's spinning out from the upper right part, kind of off-centre... kind of symbolizes all of the emotions whirling together!

What a brilliant and touching piece dear! I love your art so much ^.^

Thank you SO much for your lovely comments Jeni - that's certainly put a HUGE smile on my face.

Yeh...like I said, I've put a lot of time, effort and thought into this piece. Again, it's a very personal image and it pretty much relfects me both on the inside AND the outside. And since I have gone through a lot both negative and damaging over the years, I guess it WAS an overall influence on the style, content and mode of not just the image as a whole, but each individual section.

I'm glad you like the colours - blending with oils is a lot harder than it looks, so I'm really pleased that it turned out as well as I'd hoped.

It's a piece that's been in my mind for years, so I'm finally glad/relieved that people can see and view it whenever. I'm glad you mentioned that you could stare at this for hours - I might consider submitting this as a print myself. And hopefully, this is the first of many. Like I always say, my creative mind never sleeps, so I've got loads more ideas to paint/express/capture and present.

Again, thank you dear.

You put a lot of work into it! Hard work deserves appreciation, especially when it's as well-done as this. ^^

I can't wait to see your next big project. I love your art so much, and it's always a pleasure hearing about what you're working on. And your creative mind never sleeps? Could you share some of your creativity with me; I seem to have short-circuited.

And you are so very welcome!!! ^^
