Thranduil, Legolas and a hint of Bard

Actually based on an idea-dream of mine. Bard, being by Thranduil’s side for so long, was sad of seeing his companion missing his son this much and he, as a father, could understand how painful that must be. But as a king, he was aware of the fact that since Legolas turned against his father in front of everyone, Thranduil wasn’t able to allow him to come back, because he was not just a father, but a king as well. So, he made his own reaserch sending people to figure out where Legolas was. Time passes and after years he finally finds him. Knowing he is very old and his end is close, he was afraid that Thranduil would be left without anyone by his side. So, he sends a letter to the elven prince that says that his last wish is his return and uses his authority as a king to give him remission, so he would be able to see his father again.
So, in this little comic, Legolas appears after Bard’s funeral, to be by his devastated father’s side.
