PHOTOGRAPHY – Magnesium was a component of flash powder, from the early days of photography.

LIGHTWEIGHT MECHANISMS – Magnesium is the third most commonly used structural metal, following iron and aluminium; used in automotive and truck components, historically in aircraft manufacturing.

MORE EXTREME MODEL AUTOMOTIVE CONSTRUCTION – Le Mans 1955: a magnesium alloy car involved in the single worst accident in auto racing history.

UNCONTROLLABLE OUTBURSTS OF RAGE – Magnesium is highly flammable in small strips, but difficult to ignite in large chunks, and very difficult to extinguish as it burns in nitrogen, carbon dioxide, and water.

The colour of her blood is a vibrant green, but she has a leucophoric pigment disease [wikipedia Chromatophores for details] affecting her hemoglobin, which turns her blood a sort of light grey/white colour once oxidized. This is again to represent the lack of colour association that magnesium has.

The “accident” she suffered is a large burn scar that covers all her right forearm and part of her abdomen from one of her model cars exploding, a reference to the Le Mans disaster.

Her web browser is Chimera [a Greek monster that controls fire]. Her associated element is fire, her associated musical instrument is the gong [due to its loud, explosive sound] and her associated item for underlings is a crowbar [a tool for construction].

Magnesium also represents “eternity, infinite flame, and ascension.”

Her lusus is based off a Notophthalmus viridescens, otherwise known as an Eastern newt, due to the fact that it has magnetic homing abilities and the word "magnetic" is again derived from Magnes.
