Ever wished that elements actually worked together since that what elements are for???? Introducing an element system chart! A new form of making sense of elements! Whoohhoo! Hey guys so i meant to post this earlier but DA would not let me post anything for some reason. But no need to fear now for i can now post it! Ive been wanting to make this for so long and ive attempted in the past but never fully succeeded due to multiple reasons. This is a pretty big accomplishment for me because it lays down some of the basic concepts for Moon Ray that i can build off of. Ive got big plans and ideas for this project and this is very important step forward! la: Basically, these are all the elements (although there may possibly be more ) that exist in Moon Ray, and the whole idea behind this is that they all work together. There is a lot of aspects of this element system chart i have in mind for Moon Ray so let me explain.

Primary elements: These consist of the elements: fire, earth, water and air. These elements provide the basic foundation for other elements branching of them.

Secondary Elements: These consist of the elements: Electricity, crystal, Life, and Ice. These elements are simply based from combining primary elements.

Tertiary Elements: These consist of the elements: Acid and Metal. They are based of from a primary and a secondary element. Although only two are known to exist within the land Moon Ray, it has long been thought that more Tertiary elements are possibly able to be formed even though no one seems to know anything about them.

Outer Elements: There consist of the elements: Shadow and Light. Light is generally linked with the upper half of the elements, while shadow is linked with the lower half.

Central Elements: mystery??????? (may be revealed in the future)

Element attributes: These mark the general strengths of each element and show what that particular element in general excels at.

Element strength and weaknesses: The light arrows drawn in the middle of the chart indicate an element's strength against another particular element as well as what it is weak against. (Note: Tertiary Elements remain neutral as this only applies to primary and secondary elements.) (Note 2: This part is one of the things that will need more developing in the future.)

Element functions: Elements in Moon Ray are able to link together and provide a web of abilities and skills. Because the elements are connected, any dragon or creature capable of handling an element is able to use more than one element. Although it has it limits, the average dragon is able to develop skills within 2-3 elements as long as they are connected. Naturally, a dragon will grow up mastering one element which will become his/her element while the other may be medium or weak when it comes to terms of strength. It is possible to have the ability to channel more than 3 elements but it is usually fairly rare.

Whoo that was a lot of writing. But that should give you guys the general idea i have for the elements in Moon Ray. Ive always looked around and thought that elements should have some sort of system instead of just being set apart. One of the goals here was to establish a way to have a couple different elements instead of just one, as well as not too many. Elements in Moon Ray play a pretty big part in the story and overall concept so again, this was definitely a major leap for me! It just about killed me to make it but im so glad i got it done. Of course, i will be updating this in the future which might include a variety of improvements but i would be glad to hear everyone's thoughts on this! I hope you guys like it!
