Description
this is an attempt to re-do my "Ebtior character entry" from March of the Cybermen last year, as that version is wrong, bad, inaccurate and Ebtior has done a lot since then. Good thing it was posted on April Fools so that I have an excuse to disregard it.

ORIGIN
During Dalek Mod Update 54, the Cyber-Wars engulfed their main server. And upon a "EpicBanana366's" entry to the server and the mod, he was chased to Trenzalore by the Cybermen. He attempted to survive them by leaping out the window Capaldi-Heaven Sent-style, but this was his undoing. After this a Cyberman with his name tag was spawned. this was Ebtior. But, fortunately the server was reset, branching the Cyber-Wars off as an alternate timeline, so yours truly was fine, but Ebtior was still around
Initially, within my Minecraft and comic adventures, Ebtior wasn't actually that major an enemy, kinda like how Marvel comic Starscream was just a background character until the cosmic power, and him being a "Cyber-me" was barely a feature of his character, he seemed more interested in building a Cyber-King. heck, in one of my drawings he was even flat-out killed by Transformers Animated's Blackout. But this all changed in the December 2021-March 2022 in which I gave his character something more to chew on: an overarching “plot” that saw him try to use a Command block and a lot of mods. As such, he went through a few different forms as he was greatly damaged and underwent repairs and new forms. In the end, he seemingly perished when he vanished after activating the command block.
Now don’t ask me how, but somehow the command block had compiled all his code into one place allowing for travel onto a handful of other games on my computer, notably Mega Man 8 bit Deathmatch and Castelvanias, as an enemy bot in the Singleplayer hubs. As such the playing field had stretched out across the game multiverse. To be compatible with the games, Ebtior physically took many different appearances, from basic enemies to a giant mecha with a mindless personality. Naturally, he also remained on Minecraft as well, but now he could take on pixelated versions of his new forms in the blocky game! In the end, he tried to use his Cyberization powers on a modded-in Fecto Elfillis, creating Ebtior Ebtillis. It backfired, and Ebtior, once again, was destroyed.

To quote Horrible Histories: “BUT NOT FOR LONG” as it turned out (Summer) that the Command Block holding his original code had been drowned in Sculk, allowing Ebtior to slip into the Sculk, becoming that pool of it. And when an Enderman picked the block up, being attached to a mob brought him to the forefront and Ebtior was back! Though, after this All non-Minecraft activity fromy Ebtior appeared to cease, but even with nothing more than Minecraft (and my comics) that is more than enough for interesting plots revolving around Ebtior, as he proved through many schemes such as uncovering ancient warships that were buried for milennia, becoming a fabled "Emerald Lion" having his internal clock re-wound "thousands of years" and attempting to cyberize the nether.

Though January 2023 saw his apparent end (seemingly for real this time) in a string of schemes. After a friend from the Dreamtale side of Undertale AU fandom gave him a cool redesign (more on that when I post "forms of Ebtior" sheets) and he had built up a mini army of Cybermen, Magnificus and, in the comic re-tellings at least, Nightmare Sans, he unleashed a rather bonkers form of attack: The Grand Eb! Dude became a giant block-built floating Cyber-head. And he musta put his all into it, because what followed was very desperate from him. He took on the Transmetal 2 dragon form like Beast Megatron (we coded that in, basically makin him fly and have fire attacks) and he attacked the Dalek Mod Skaro of my Minecraft world. Upon entry of his ship and an intense duel "Anakin vs Obi Wan" style, I won through the high ground and Ebtior's glowing red form drifted out into space... dead... for real this time.

CHARACTERISTICS:
Naturally, Ebtior would share my imagination, interests and creativity, though his are directed towards victory for the Cybermen. And like the Cybermen, some emotions do slip through the cracks, like rage and arrogance! He boldly believes himself to be the stronger version of me and, well to his credit he is made of Cyber-steel. As a Cyberman, he is naturally smart, but as a Cyberman originating from a comic and game obsessed writing nerd? He probably knows almost everything about the pop culture worlds he visits. Though as a caviat, he does occasionally have to take on a monsterous form, like ganon or a big pool of wrathful slime, but these times are few. It seems he still retains the original's childish whimsy as some of his plans make no sense to a not-childlike audienc, such as becoming giant Cyber-Head. Hey! I didn't say that last part about childlike whimsy! Who wrote that? Uh-huh, regardless, Ebtior is one dangerous foe, knowing how rock can beat paper and having the strength to back up his confidence

TRIVIA:
-Ebtior is not the first mirror-me I have created (well technically I didn't create him, he spawned when I died in Minecraft, but you get the drift) but he is the only one to have any form of good character development, which led to his role as the main antagonist of my works!
-Originating in a branched timeline as a doomed-to-destroy version of the hero, Ebtior shares many similarities with Quint of Mega Man (who is a good character and so is the game! Stop being mean to the guy, people)! And his tendency to survive via code or sculk or Cyber elf could be linked to Sigma.
-Much like Humes and the "Traitor Dalek" from Power of the Doctor, I have made the bold claim of Ebtior being two canonical Cybermen: the broken and injured Cyberman from the Wintertime Paradox's "A Girl called doubt" (taking this form in December 2022) and the CyberReaper from the Edge of Reality, a form he will take in the future, perhaps.
-obviously, deep character scenes are difficult to create in Minecraft, so I have been re-telling his tale in illustration and comic, even covering prequel stuff. Expect to see some of that stuff show up here.
-A lot of Ebtior's allies, be they character, bot or player, have betrayed him or abandoned him. In his Fecto scheme, he was abandoned by his player ally "Blood Mewtwo" and a Megaman 8bit deathmatch "Stardroid bot enemy" ally named Gnashavar. Much more on that second one in a later post. and similarly, a player that acted as a Cyberman named "Terre" planned to otherthrow Ebtior and become ruler of the Cybermen, much like Starscream (Even though Ebtior is already Starscream-inspired) naturally, Terre failed.
-Given my Minecraft world is a shared one with friends, they too have had their own unique Ebtior encounters. Some of them have generously offered to have these encounters told on this DeviantArt account. Thanks, guys. and yes, "A Bri'ish monarch" is one of them.
-Much like his organic counterpart's OC, Ebtior has the abilities linked to Gaster and his Goners. we coded him those fancy "Hand Gaster Blasters" everyone in the fandom gives Gaster. Also, much like the placeholder text in Deltarune, that is indeed a gash in Ebtior's face! ooo
-back when the Doctor Who TV movie was being worked on, a pitch for the Cybermen was these weird Pirates that are clearly human cybernised, lanky designs that looked like they belong in Transformers Beast Machines. One of them appeared in an early illustrated adventure o' mine, so now I'm retconning that one into a damaged, low resources, stranded in the past Ebtior! He eventually escaped.
-We know Ebtior's story resembles that of Quint, but if so, is there an Ebtior equivalent to Rockman Shadow? Mysterious.
