Heya all! A bit ago now, a Youtuber by the name of Keyan Carlisle (I say that as if he's an obscure channel. Ha. Everyone in the Transformer fandom knows him) made an animated fan-pilot for a show focussing on the Combaticons team. And it got me thinking: I'm artistic. I know this series. Why aren't I making my own fan-verses for this franchise? So I decided to start my own little spin-off, focussing on the Autobot Pretender Metalhawk and his crew. Back in Super God-Masterforce, they said how they left Cybertron before Prime and helped guide humanity in their evolution, so they have millenia of story potential! Plus, I get to focus on the War on Cybertron, and that's always cool (when... not on Netflix, that is). So here is the opening! The crew taking off during the war! Also I included the Pretenders from Ask Vector Prime in Metalhawk's crew coz I thought it'd be fun.
You may notice that Jetfire (or Skyfire) is still a Deceppticon. And that's because, as seen in the OG cartoon, he isn't supposed to be an Autobot until Megatron and Prime restart their war. As a result, he can show up here as a recurring antagonist with his buddy Starscream.
If you're wondering who the battered up Decepticon is that's watching the shuttle take off, it's Megatron! I gave him a design that melds part of his current grey look with a battered and broken "original miner" look. I'm quite pleased with it.
