Hmmm. I take a three hour art class and I'm already slightly better at this stuff. Not quite fantastic, but better.Anyway, this is semi-realism. Enjoy.
I like the one on the right better, but my dad likes the one on the left.

The hair is supposed to be in the face. What do you mean by general alignment?
If this explains anything, this was originally supposed to be practice with facial anatomy.

no offense, it's crooked and it's blurry. you have a problem with too much blurring.
