So *claps hands together* For those of you that have been following me for the last couple years should already know what this is but those of you that are new, let me explain:

A while back about a year ago or so, I had an idea for a Robot Jones AU at literally 3 in the morning lmao XD Basically the story is in this U, Robot and his friends actually grew up in the same big house together and their father's all work at a harbor, selling fish and the boys are apprentices for them, helping them stock the place and such while their dads eventually go out sailing for fish. Robot is still a data collector albeit more towards sea life and he's already seen the fish by the docks dozens of times and is itching to help out more and to prove he's growing up and ready to help further with the family business. He decides to prove his worth by going out late at night to catch a bunch of fish but the problem was he didn't exactly know how to do that but some luck was on his side when he saves Shannon, who is an injured mermaid with an amnesia problem due to a traumatic experience she could barely remember. She dreams of wanting to know more about humans and their lifestyle and convinces Robot to take her home with him and he keeps her in their swimming pool in secret. Little do either of them know a few people have figured out something could be going on and want that for themselves...

I drew this up when I was listening to siren music lmao and this whole story came flooding back to me no pun intended lol XD The story is just on hiatus atm I refuse to leave my work unfinished for all eternity unless I decide it's best to close up shop. This is definitely a story I'll be returning to for sure soon enough once I get less things off my plate lmao
