How does that happen, you guys ask?Very simple: Amy quickly runs at Grizelda and pushes her off to safety, then Amy is unable to move out of the way after the machine self-destructs. And when she gets soaked in the green water and her body (except her head, arms and legs) bloats into a big bouncing ball, it takes a wish for Sonic to save his crush before she could cause any damage.
