dawns crawling on the wrinkles of the sheetsseems grey and distantly cold
compared to dawns glow on skin
holding together.
Hands
gripping tight.
longer these days drag on...
on.
never understood how much i truly loved
until I tasted each inch of it.
hours weeks months make me weaker
as I forgot to remember
what that happiness that was you
take every part of me in.

there's such calm aching and yearning in this piece. I get the feeling that although the outside looks calm, there's a small storm brewing inside. This is really incredibly beautiful work.. i love the tones you've used and the light is just gorgeous.. and then there are you words.. poetic charms and truths... they compliment the piece quite nicely and i can't help it.. but this portrait makes me hurt... that's what real and good art is meant to do.. make you feel, whether or not you want it to or were ready. So beautiful and soft. The skin looks amazing - all luminescent and slick.. (do you have oil on it or anything? it sort of has this gorgeous sheen). And the pose, to me, is a mix of seductive sensuality, and a sort of hopeless despair.
