this is a photograph of a painting I purchased at I-con the painting isnt my artwork but the photo of it is, it was signed by the original artist and I payed 100$ for it. its a beautiful piece and I had to put it up hereRelated content

The artist is Ken Kelly. It was used for the cover of Famous Monsters of Filmland #114

I should clarify: I had no way to have seen "Terror Of Mechagodzilla" yet either.
So I had no idea who King Seesar OR Gigan was.

I do believe I saw this painting, or a version of it, on the cover of an issue
of Famous Monsters Of Filmland magazine back in the mid 70's.
I never owned the issue, a friend had it. Lots of pictures in this issue
of kaiju movies I'd never seen, at that point. At the time, I had no idea who
King Seesar was, "Godzilla vs Gigan" had not been seen in America yet.
Nice price for an original artwork!
