Ibis the Corsak is a wanderer, lost in his dreams. Five years ago he left everything and everyone he had far behind, wishing to get lost. Eventually, he got lost and scared of it.
Ibis was an uncut diamond in a bunch of stones, that`s why he always felt lonely. He is kind and calm, relaxed and friendly, romantic and naive - and so he was at school. As the time passed, he managed to come across with the same lonely and unique souls, like he was - the quiet fennec Shelly, who was teased in the class for her big ears and strangeness, and the noisy and active ferret Fierce. Each of them was apostate in the society, so they become unpartable and loyal friends. Their first and the last common oath was _to never part_. Hundreds of children do the same as being friends, though...
The fate of each of them was also hard. And as they were growing up, the heartless rules of life became even more rude and illogical. Ibis has got a lot of problems, connected with relationships. He felt he was loosing contact with his friends and family, and the society he hated much enough was just killing everything, that was childish in him. Things, which seemed so simple in the childhood, became unbearable, and here came a main question of survival - to stay kid and fall, or to grow up and step forward. But growing up supposed to learn a lot of new things, which Ibis` heart denied to accept: lies, treachery, cruelty and secresy. He didn`t want to grow up, so once his patience came to a redline: he ran away from home and never came back - he didn`t say anything to his friends and parents and even to his little sister he loved. He decided to hide from the life, staying alone again. He thought that way would be much simplier, but he made a mistake.
He feeling of vault and repentance has never left him since, but shame and fear didn`t let him return. He began a new life of soli-wanderer. Five years he travelled through the whole country from west to east, turning up on the east coast eventually. As he was a homeless actually, he had to get used to spending nights on the open air - so nature and solitude became his home.
In his bag there always were his constant companions - his beloved photocamera (Ibis likes to divert his attention on charms of surroundings), his beads, which he made himself (actually, Ibis is plunged into the religion of Buddhism), the shampoo (Ibis is very clean and he takes the special care of his luxurious tail), and the photo of his sister, who is seven years younger, than him. Oh, and cookies - he loves cookies...
Though Ibis didn`t change his nature - he is still romantic, naive and calm, his look became sad and thoughtfull. Maybe, though, it always was... The feelings of vault and memories of home turned into the regular nighmares, which ended up with a strong illness: the last two years he suffers from fit of nerves - so sedatives appeared in addition to his constant stock.
He also got another problem - Ibis is a son of a corsak and a hedgehog. Though he looks like corsak, he inherited some genes from his another parent: all his pelt is prickly, in spite of his tail - the only touchable part of his body, that`s why he keeps it fluffy, clean and soft. This is a real torture for Iblis - he is quite a sentimental being, but nobody, even his own mother, was ever able to embrace him - nor was he.
