Now, I must ask and I know this is going to sound dumb....Do you hand paint these right on the pony, or is there a special process that gets the design on the ponies? I have seen these time and time again and I keep wondering how such beautiful art gets on these ponies with out screwing up. Please tell me, because I'm very confused!

Wow. Amazing work on the details! I'm glad to finally see a TLU-custom that isn't just a white unicorn. This truly captures the spirit of that movie.
Such crisp and clear lines... I'm baffled. Painting that good on canvas is hard enough, but on a pony it must be even harder!
Correct me if I'm wrong, but this is a styling pony right?

You are completely correct. She was a styling Pinkie Pie pony I believe. At first I wasn't sure about using a pink pony, but then I wanted a colour to contrast the white of the unicorn on. I have actually had the bait for over a year. Just never knew what to do with her. Then all of a sudden it just came about. Like most of my ponies I just started to doodle one night and it came from there. I'm still not sure if the symbol needs more. I have the hair so I was gonna re-hair her and see. The styling ponies have so much space I'm like a child with a new toy with all that area to paint on. Oh and as for the canvas thing... I do dabble every now and again and trust me ponies are easier. They may be smaller but they take less time to complete and they are certainly much smoother to get a nice finish on ^-^

Ah, the smoothness of a pony... I had totally forgotten about that. 
I can imagine it being fun to customize a styling pony. I have a Rainbow Dash at home that I want to customize eventually, but so far I don't know what to make of her...
So what colors will her hair be?

Thank you. I certainly don't deserve such praise. Trust me the brush strokes are definately present, in the white paint especially, so it is very much painted lol.

I believe you, but it looks so good. do you thin your paint a lot? (I'm still working with acryllic extender, but I may not be using enough of it)
