It's a bit like some flat-earthers. You could present them with any evidence that the Earth is not flat, and they would tell you that these proofs are false and manipulated. Even if you took them into space, they would say that modern technologies allow for projecting a film onto the window glass to deceive them

The essence of how a conspiracy theory works is to instill suspicion without providing any evidence, and particularly to force the targeted person to provide the "proof of having done nothing," which is impossible.
