Description
I had to paint him, so I did. I am really not good at realistic drawings, just anime and horses. yes, this picture is drawn about a thousand times, so I gave him a happier expression a sort of a smirk. I tried drawing him from memory, but he just ended up looking either really old, or like a girl anime char. I think I may have ruined my artisitc abilitys by only drawing anime. The hardest part is his eyes, they still look horrible, oh well..I just wanted to contrubute to the davy jones art, I have a bunch of doodles I think I'll put in scraps, so you all can see girly old man davy jones.Related content

wow the coloring is amazing!! i could never do watercolor...it always ended up looking like skittles puked on a page lol

hahhha, that is the best way to describe anything..period..skittles puked on the page..let me tell you a little secret about water colors, people make them way to complicatied, paint like you would with anyother median, add water slowly, just because its called water color, dosn't mean us as much water as possible, but the pro's are even better then I could ever be, they make that water dance on the page.

You totally nailed the eyes and facial structure, and the tentacles are lookin' good. Love the loose painterly style that you used ^^

hahah, thank you. it was hard..really hard, because there is something about his eyes, that was really hard to capture. it took many drafts to get that. I supose im satisified with it. and yes, the tenticles are a blast, you can do what ever you want with them. hahha, I have this comic..well like a manga style drawing of him brushing his teeth, reading a book...all sorts of insignificant tasks just becasue he can do them all at the same time. perhaps I will put it in my scraps.
