I'm really excited about what I was able to do with this character rig. I think I'm going to have to start using these on everything!
Created entirely in Photoshop and After Effects.
I made a WIP journal showing the start of my rig creation.Β I plan to make a full tutorial of how to create a rig like this one

Wow, impressive!! Another level reached! And I should look into getting DUIK. That's a plugin I didn't have ^^ Very complete and complex animation, and wow it even has a 3D illusion!! Yes, I can definitely see that the nose is moving slightly differently than the rest for example, creating that 3D feel. Same for the hair that appear to move "behind". Amazingly done!! The only feedback I'd have, is that at one moment all movements completely stop for like a second, and that is enough to break the realism. The character should ALWAYS be moving even when you want to make it have a time of "pause" contemplating something in your animation board. It doesn't have to be much, it can be a very subtle movement of a few pixels that we can hardly notice without paying attention... but we'll still notice it's not 100% frozen and it will be more realistic

To be honest, the animation and drawing style kinda reminds me a bi of the animation of "LilΒ΄Miss Rarity", without wanting to insult you, it just came to my mind.
