This is a quick gif preview of an animation collaboration with Cider Party. My first real attempt at a reactive audio animation!This gif doesn't quite do it justice.

This was never meant to be a gif, there are so many colours missing! Be sure to check out the original
I marathoned this piece in about 16 hours. And it took about 20 hours to render! It was really down to the wire.

I was just about to ask you when your next animation is going out. Well yeah I saw it on the song first but now it made me curious. Reactive audio you say. But did you make it manually for this one song or is it something that would work as wallpaper engine aplication(coz it would be dope
But I'm really looking forward for next animated wallpaper. Would love to see this one animated in its original resolution:

Hey there!
The animation is reactive to the audio file that I put into After Effects, but has to be pre-rendered. Unfortunately there's not a way for me to do this in Wallpaper Engine with live audio, not only is it not compatible but it would be just way too heavy for any computer to deal with (my computer rendered that Cider Party video at about 0.1 fps)
I do love Yakovlev's stuff! I'm not sure if I'll get to that one you linked, but if the .psd file was sent my way I'm sure it would be tempting
As for now, I have a couple projects on the go already and my IRL things are starting to completely take over. But here's a little teaser of another big animation I'm working on! If you can figure out what the source material is you get an internet cookie
