Description Yay! The wifi at my house is fixed, so I don't have to use my mom's computer to get online anymore!

So I celebrate by bringing two of my current favorite fandoms together in one comic! Axis Powers Hetalia's UK/Arthur and South Park's Pip!

Seriously, I'm rereading the sixth Harry Potter book and I have no idea what that word is...can someone please explain it to me...?

I love how UK came out this time. Better than the first time I drew him! And Pip is as adorable as always!

Arthur/UK (c) Axis Powers Hetalia/Hidekaz Himaruya
Pip (c) South Park/ Trey & Matt
Harry Potter (c) J.K. Rowling
Art/ Me (c) MWAHH!!! ~EranthyaeNoire

*Puts on glasses*

A git is an idiot or fool; this can be used with varying degrees of negativity or fondness. You may call someone a silly git in the same way you would call a close friend a nut job or a weirdo if they did something silly.
Or you might call someone a git in anger and mean it in a negative and hostile way; it all depends on the context.

The word is thought to come from 'beget' which loosely referred to a b*stard; originally the term git was only meant offensively but it has become more lax in modern times.
It could also have come from the German word 'Geistesschwache' which means moron/idiot/fool and over time it has merely been abbreviated and integrated into the English language along with many German words.

*takes off glasses*
I'm surprised the American version kept in cultural oddities like 'git' I don't think I've ever heard it used outside of the UK so I imagine most people thought 'huh!?' upon reading it xD

*Has that weird, serious anime shine in my glasses* Indeed. Just imagine if they would have acted like Poland in the books. Or Russia.

Git's not like that at all!!!
A git is a person who is deemed to be despicable or contemptible; "only a rotter would do that"; "kill the rat"; "throw the bum out"; "you cowardly little pukes!"; We British call a contemptible person a `git'
Try looking it up on the internet dictonaries.

Although, the "we'd have to kill you"-bit made me smile.

nobody knows exactly what git means. I'm british, and whenever someone says git I could swear they were speaking another language.
I think its just a non-swearing-but-close-to-it way of saying your a little b*stard, or a bugger if you know what that is XD

haha, its basically just something you call someone. like you'd call someone a douche bag or whatever. i love that, douche bag, haha, whats that mean cause we don't say it over here in britian. i hear it on supernatural alot

gits not actually a swear word, its just about the same 'bad' word as bloody hell or something like that, not as bad as actually calling someone a bastard or something but it has the same sort of meaning.
