The whole meaning of this work can be described in one song.)) I've had an idea of painting Unheilig's "Maschine" for about a year, I've been overburdened with the thoughts about the materials, the poses, the composition, etc.

People who don't understand German speech often think, that "Maschine" is about some technical device, or so.
IT'S NOT.
It's one of the friggin' sexiest dance themes I've heard.

Ihr Herz ist aus Metall
Und ihre Haut aus nacktem Stahl
In der Tiefe in meinen Armen
Liegt die Maschine kalt und still...

For those, who're interested: the "heart" gear at the lady's forehead is not just a cute detail. It's simply the concept from the cover art of "Maschine" single (you can see the art here - sorry for small resolution, I couldn't find anything better))). The song itself can be listened to on YouTube .

As for the technical part of the process... The whole painting is made by my traditional means: watercolours & white tempera (polyvinyl-acetate paint), synthetic brushes from #3 to #20 and small sponge. The size of original painting is A3 (250 x 400 mm).
