Yesterday evening David Suchet wrote in his twitter that they had finished filming “The Curtain”. I know the epoch of Agatha Cristie doesn’t end with this, as it didn’t end when the last book was written, or when the last breath of Dame Agatha was released. But this still feels like a stab in the chest: that’s the last one. The glorious one. The unreal, impossible, wonderful one.The Curtain.
I guess one day I’ll develop this sketch into a fully detailed HQ painting. But so far I’m too impatient to keep silent.

this is so beautiful! Augh! I NEVER want The Curtain to come out! It will be toooo sad! I, as a fan of the immortal fictional character, REFUSE to except The Curtain as canon!!!

In this, he kind of looks like a vampire, mabye because of the red in his eyes and the way he's dressed, but it's still way cool!

Oh, wow. The red reflecting in this eyes looks so intense! I really like the loose feeling of this, especially how it gets rougher as you move away from the face.
It feels like the end of an era, doesn't it? He's been playing Poirot since I was five years old!

I've been watching the series for twenty-one year already...
He's the only character and actor I'm a true fan of.
I understand that the era doesn't end; it goes on in a different way... but it still feels bitter.
