It was a gorgeous evening. Off to the north-ish direction there was a t-storm and some lightning. Of course, it didnt cooperate in my attempt to capture it, sadly.

Truly beautiful. Hopefully you got to enjoy it despite the "distraction" of trying to capture the elusive. Some things are just like unicorns, not meant to be had, just appreciated in the moment.

The first two flashes of lightning didnt register as lightning right away, lol. I did not hear the thunder so even though I was on a metal fire tower I wasnt too nervous, lol

Living dangerously, huh? Yikes! I'm prolly more likely to be hit by lightening than win the lottery, even though they say the chances of either are 'bout the same. Getting attacked by a great white has decreased since leaving CA, but, you know... I've got this giant puffer to feed every day... I'm livin on the edge!

Admittedly, my most treasured adventures happen behind closed doors. Ahh... maaaan.... I miss sex... lol. Perhaps it's just my frustration and over-active imagination that's making for the plethora of fantasy chapters/poetry/stories of late. ...Or maybe I'm just a horn-dog...? I dunno any more...

I keep saying I'm going to find an open-mic night, or start one, or do talks at local highschools, but I don't... I looked for some writer's groups in the area but.... "you gotta go to Portland...."

Im surprised that there are no writers groups near you. I live in a small town and we have one- not that I am a member. I dont have the time to properly join and participate.
I have read a ton of books and I meant what I said about you being able to write professionally. Even if Bunny Trouble is just for kicks, and some pretty sweet ones, its still well written.

Yeah.... people here are.... I dunno, I'm lacking the proper adjective, but I guess since Portland is just a jaunt over the bridge, they don't really bother congregating in their own town, I dunno. I been thinking about trying some of the local coffee shops and starting an open mic night or something. I SHOULD get ready for NaNoWriMo, it's next month isn't it? It would be awesomesauce to finish the edits on the first novel I ever wrote down and get THAT published!!! That only gives me a month to finish Bunny 2... See, this is why I'm always behind, lol!!!

It just seems to me, that if you're going to bother to write something down, it should be worth reading. NaNoWriMo is next month. How often have you participated? Ive never. You dont need to finish Bunny before, you can just stretch it out until after. You know, if Suki can take the stretching, Im sure your readers can, lol.
I have never read Fifty Shades or seen the movie. Pretty much the only things I read in that specific genre are your Bunny stories and Sunstone.

Good! Don't bother! It was a real chore to get through, like making myself a masochist just to read it! But... I figured if I was going to be involved in the dialogue, I had to know what I was talking against. I am truly flattered, however, that you enjoy my work. That makes me happy beyond measure. And yes, Sunstone is pretty epic!!! Admittedly though, I haven't read that much of it. Shanon got her copy of the new release when it came out, so I started there.

To write that much is daunting to me- especially when life keeps nudging you in the armpit while your sitting like a puppy who needs to go out.
I have read all your Bunny chapters. I need to go read your other stuff. Sunstone is good because of the story- its not just about sex, its about the relationship and all its failings and triumphs.
My one complaint is that it gives me all sorts of ideas, lol. But then again, so doesnt your Bunny.

Ahh... Haha! Oh my, yes! I totally missed that one! LOL And yes, the prospect of NaNo next month I think is more stress than I can handle right now. As much as I'd love to finish my other works, I don't think a 30-day timeline is realistic. Even starting something new, even a new Bunny story, would be a lot to get done. I don't think I'm making excuses, I just don't think it's realistic.
Ah, you're so sweet. Read which ever of my works you think you'll enjoy, it's not a requirement that you read everything I've ever put down! lol I've heard that about Sunstone. I should get off my butt and read more of it... And I have to agree, I get all sorts of ideas about other "things" I'd like to be doing with someone. Alas. Story of my life.

Sunstone just finished up a "book". It was damn good, as usual. My own complaint, and this may be silly, is that all his women look alike except for their hair and a few accessories. Or maybe its just me.
