Another of those magic skies seemingly created just to focus the eye on your delightful images...i am sorry the waether is bad but I have also heard that El Nino is back too..that is very bad nws..we had only 8 inches of rain in two years last time it got bad..neverrtheless I see you are able to overcome all these obstacles!

Thanks for your thoughts, I am glad you liked the image. As to the weather, it has shifted in the other direction now - high of 27-30, and humid...proving I am never happy. Miranda assures me Australia is hotter than this, so I think I would melt into a puddle if I ever did visit...30 seems so unbearable..

When I went to India the first time it was continuously more than 45C every day and night; the water was off, the power was off, and the children(ours) were dropping like flies...so I know about finding the climate a trial, it's the humidity that really saps one's strength, but even so if you could brave it here I think you would find it rather rewarding in that it is so fundamentally different from your usual locations..I would brave the cold, if I could only find the finance to do so as I am fascinated by the light up your way, as you know.

Well, only time will tell I guess. Miranda departs for Australia in late October, so she shall provide "to-the-minute" reports, I am sure! On the other hand, she loves heat, and finds 30 degrees "comfortable" - where I was incredibly uncomfortable and dripping with sweat, she was barely warm. Freaky!

The thing about Australia is that it is so big that the weather in one area may be no indication for the others..at present it is cold here for us..about 16C in the day and windy..and down to 4C at night...but the heat is coming soon...it is the dryness that is hardest to take out here where I live..

16 is quite pleasant...and I dream of 4 degree nights - I'd be able to sleep then! But the heat where you are must be something else...

Thanks for your compliment; the evening wasn't actually all that great, and it was pretty chilly too (this summer has been a crappy one here, weather wise), so I was quite pleased with the results, all things considered!

Well the clouds look interesting never the less. I think the entire Easrern area of the country has had a horrible summer so far including Ontario.

Yes, the weather has been VERY bad...wet and humid. Someone tonight in class said it had something to do with the Greenland Ice Shelf breaking up and cooling the ocean...no fun at all.

It is quite possible I guess. The funny thing is that out west especially in BC they are having record breaking heat, the world as we know it is dying....
