Description This is the biggest temple in Penang - Gek Lok Chi. That's a moody day, sunlight has been covered till noon. All my friends is intent to 'create' some contrast over their drawings..... im just too lazy for that, rather follow the existing situation. Here is the sketch, what a lazy job!

That's some great looking architecture. And it's a SKETCH??
I wish I could do that, but I haven't really made an effort to learn architecture yet. I'll start soon...

Wow.. this is the kind of pic that makes me want to draw architecture and get back to watercolours .. seriously it's great. i luv the contrast between the detailed sketch and the seemingly sloppy colouring that adds all the charm.. great work!

It's sooo beautiful. It reminds me of... of... Peter Spier's work. Sketchy, but beautiful, and most carelessly coloured. It seems careless, but it is just... beautiful. AH, yes. I love this style. +fav

Another beautiful picture. I love how it's sketchy, yet still seems so finished, if you know what I mean. I wish I could work in water color, but I really don't like it. This still inspires me to try again, though.

I agree with Athenatt - loose and free would be the adjectives I would use. You've simply taken what you've seen and put it down on paper nice and simply. Hehe, I say it looks as you've spilt your coffee over the bottom section Bravo!

great style, love the fact that the water colors fade of as the picture develops out wards, en colors them selves are very well done, en there is alot of detail, very nice indeed

I prefer to follow the existing situations myself. Nothing lazy about that. I think this is beautiful! I love the way you just let the color run off the bottom. I like the water marks created there. Wonderful job!

That's a nice study, man. I'd like to see some more perspective work. I'm from Thailand, so this kind of architecture is very familiar to me.
