Holy crap. I am obsessed with antique keys, and I think this is such an amazing design. It's like something Guillermo del Toro would use in one of his movies. It would open the coolest room ever!

... wow, this is awesome. What's unfinished about it? Is it actually clockwork or is it battery powered?
Of what I've seen of you so far (which hasn't been much since I only came across you a few hours ago and I've been very busy) your style is very Gaiman/McKean esque.

It's close to being completed in this shot, and even closer now. The fan shape on the left side now has the paper in it to match the face, and in this shot, only one of the three plates are carved up and darkened. There's a long list of other little things, but the finished shots will be up soon, so you'll be able to see for yourself.
I do make some cheaper, battery powered clocks, however this one is weight driven, and 100% mechanical. If you're interested, the blog on the homepage of my website shows the progress, and some of the techniques involved.

I sell them from the shop on my website. I'm sold out right now, but I'll be finishing another quartz clock soon. My latest mechanical is nearing completion as well, but it may not be for sale.
