My Take on Batman's sidekick Robin The Boy Wonder I had actually done this design Months ago but for some reason I forgot to post it anyway I hope you like my take on him!! Next up.......Nightwing!!*Robin is property of DC Comics!!

Browsing through some old favourites and I've rediscovered this gem. There are a lot of Robin redesigns out there which have complicated weapon designs and forced costume motifs and all that jazz, but I love your take on him.
Rather than branding this as a costume redesign you've taken the concept on as your personal rendition, and therefore extension, of the character. I think the simplicity of the cape is brilliant, and just as practical as the pads and armoured sections which would still make sense for running, fighting, swinging etc. You've not overdone the colour palette which is great so the red and yellow work well.
Although it looks like an all-in-one, I like that the belt is there which entertains the possibility of it being a shirt-trouser combo. Again more practical than most hero getups. Sticking with that theme, giving him a simple no-frills staff to work with is again a good emphasis of his natural ability and the lack of necessity for gimmicks.

If you were to depict jason todd as robin, would you use the earth-2 red hair to vary up the design? Or would you stick with the iconic black hair?
