"Disused"? Would the owner ever in the future sell this for restoration and airworthiness?

I have no idea to be honest with you, it was in Carlisle, PA, and didn't much worry about it.

Fair enough. Although when looking at the state it is in, it may not be in disuse. I've seen my fair share of forgotten and abandoned airplanes, and they typically have flat tires and tall grass growing up all around them.

Right, I just was there a few times and from what I could tell it never moved, or never used.

This has always been one of my favorites. I remember back in the late '50s and early '60s we had some stationed here in Portland, OR at the west end of PDX. They were painted in the standard USAF Air-Sea-Rescue colors.

They served along side the Kaman H-43 "Eggbeaters."
