Description Only one thing might be more deadly than an assassin whose injuries heal and that's Hitlist, an assassin who can generate a nullification aura about an inch thick that deadens all energy in its tracks making him tough to damage to begin with.

Hit list is Cade Tillson, an ex-military defense technician who felt betrayed by the government when his wife and children were murdered by international assassins. Cade's subsequent unhinged brilliance enabled him to patent many technologies that made him extremely wealthy. In an effort to exact revenge on the assassins that destroyed his family, he designed his own technology company and developed a neuro-implant that allows him to download data into his cerebral cortex affording him an instant expertise in any field of combat, the styles of which he can blend on his own. He has become a master at most known forms of martial arts, strategies and weaponry and has designed wicked energy pulse firearms and bladed weapons. His body armor is generations past Kevlar and affords him significant protection from the more powerful weapons that occasionally drive far enough through his null field to inflict damage.

Cade managed to strike with deadly effect at the targets responsible for the upheaval in his life but still has not caught the main players. The process of repetitively injecting his mind with external data has rendered Cade highly unstable, switching his persona from a dark, brooding grim reaper to a laughing, wisecracking, taunting swashbuckler.

(Obviously an enthusiastic hat tip to Deadpool and Deathstroke! )

Pretty cool character. I think his swords are in an awkward place, but I like his overall look. I like his powers too, as I have an antagonist with similar abilities hyped to cosmic levels. His energy field has been on since birth and he has never known any form of injury, coupled with his superior strength and speed gives him an inflated sense or invulnerability. It's gonna be fun to take him down, just not easy!

Thanks, G! Well, I wanted the swords to be in a place where he could easily reach each arm straight back and grasp a handle. So many times a swordsman is designed to go cross-shoulder to quickly unsheathe a back-mounted sword and that seems unrealistic to me, especially with some of these bulkier guys. It would certainly require a clever ultra-light back harness that perhaps allows his swords to retract as needed to accommodate athletic movements. (Looking closely, you may notice that I provided him with TWO sets of swords and lots of weapons and ammo to rely on.) I envision HITLIST always working out with full gear on so he can combat with fluidity while armed to the teeth. Anyway, always lots of things to work out!

This guy is kind of an amalgam of Deadpool and Punisher, should be fun to write

Never considered Punisher but Deadpool/Deathstroke influence was definitely on my mind. Of course with the murdered family thing, it's all there all right! Hopefully I can work him in at some point! Thanks!

Yeah I figured lol. What has/is he been/be able to survive?

The standard bullets that hit his aura are instantly nullified. They stop as if caught in an invisible sticky thick gel and fall. That energy is stored by his body for use later. Larger, faster ordnances can and do get through the aura but that's why he has developed a high end body armor. With a powerful enough punch or strike, he can be knocked on his ass but his expertise in innumerable fighting styles still drives him to keep fighting.

Ah, very interesting. What would it be like if he had regeneration though?

Since Deadpool and Wolvie already have cornered the market on that, definitely wasn't going to go there. I figured I would simply make it difficult to damage him instead and to give him an energy source (the re-channeled nullified energies) that allows him to keep on, keep on, keep on coming like those who simply heal their injuries.

Ah, neat idea. More often then not I like the brutish bruisers who can keep on coming without the requirement of regeneration or some sort of armor or energy shield; they'd just rely on their will and thick skin (Just like Allx ) I must say I like the hard-to kill/invulnerable brutes the best lol
