Thought my OC Legacy would fill the bill nicely!

Once every 500 years, a deity known as the Primal Essence selects a human for a gift that allows an unprecedented connection to the inner power of the human soul, that innate untapped limitless core spirit that is capable of energizing and driving us all. That human is now New Orleans cajun Jarell Riser, the newest chosen one who managed to forge the inner spiritual connection more masterfully than any of his predecessors in history, unlocking unprecedented abilities to draw upon raw, primal life-forces that make him one of the most powerful beings on the planet and worthy to bear the mantle of Legacy!

Legacy's hypercharged soul-force grants him megahuman strength, a superhuman invulnerability and the ability to manipulate all forms of energy. This can manifest as blasting forces, hard constructs, siphoning, super-infusing or a direct attack on an opponent's soul. He wears a set of otherworldly gauntlets from which dual legacy-blades can telescope forward, capable of cutting thru any physical or metaphysical matter/energy, handy when encountering the legions of demons that run rampant on the Earth!
