Description
This is just something of a stylistic experiment, using some gray pens / markers to make a black and white style I might be able to do comics in, possibly.

The character is a mercenary sword fighter who slays monsters and faces down ogres for most of her jobs. She likes telling wildly exaggerated stories and jokes to be the center of attention. She gets on well with kids, though a lot of people think she may be telling them stories that are too violent. In spite of her extreme exaggerations she really is a competent fighter who uses a couple forms of magic to enhance her sword fighting. Wind magic gives her super speed and metal magic allows her to strengthen her sword and sharpen it on the fly and ignore pain.

Her outfit's a little bit silly - along with that one braid, it's kind of meant to help emphasize movement and be dramatic when she's leaping about, but at least it's not in the same way that most females in the fantasy genre get stuck with.
